Cadets Drum and Bugle Corps

For every Cadet that graces the field, there is a history that might very well trace back to a young musician or colorguard member that participated in their high school marching band. Perhaps that was you that played trumpet or snare drum, or twirled the flag or rifle during those formative years of your life.

The wonderful thing is that path could have led you to becoming a member of the World Class organization known as the Cadets!

For the next 10 weeks, the organization that brings you the Cadets, will launch the 21st season of its sister program, the US Scholastic Band Association. High School bands across the country will participate in 139 events in 15 states, giving students the opportunity for fantastic marching experiences.

The USSBA needs your help! Volunteers for shows are always needed. Registration, Parking Lot Attendants, Airgram, Video and Merchandise Sales, Tape Runners, Program Sales and general set up and break down assistance. All roles are crucial in making our marching and pageantry events all they should be.

Remember, no time is too little! Two hours, six hours, or all day - whatever you can spare to help make band kids smile! Email Susan Erben, Volunteer Coordinator, at susan@yea.org, or call (610) 821-0345, Ext. 138, to express your interest and make arrangements. You can also view the full USSBA schedule of events at www.usbands.org.
