My brother and I joined the corps in the end of summer 1962 and was with the corps until the winter of 1964. I returned to the corps as a drum instructor during the 1973 season with Fred Sanford and Bobby Hoffman. I have been on the percussion staffs of several corps including the Sunrisers, Cavaliers, and Troopers. I presently own a music school in Spring, Texas and since shortly after 9/11 have been serving with the Civil Air Patrol flying missions for homeland security and Fema disaster relief.
I`m looking for a sponsor for the 2010 summer with the cadets.I wanted to know if you may know anyone that may sponsor me for my ageout. I marched 2008 and 09 .I would really love to march this last summer.
I am so excited to hear you are working the October 10th show. I am planning to be there as well. I still work with Scott's high school band and they will be performing at that competition. I will try and find you. Scott is trying to come down. They don't have a football game they have to attend but he is in an ensemble that is going to PASIC so he is not sure he is clear on that front yet. I really miss the corps. Scott is marking the days he gets to be back with his Cadets!!! His jacket was shipped to our house this weekend and I really expect to see his truck pull up in the driveway any minute to get it. HA Take care and hope to meet you in person on the 10th.
Brian it is a pleasure to hear from you. I am Kim Sepolio, Scott's mother. I have heard many stories about you and several of the other alumni that came out to visit with the 09 members this season. It was a very special year for them and I am thankful that it included such a close relationship with the alumni. He cannot stop talking about the Cadets and is counting the days until November camp. It has changed his life. Have a wonderful day and thank you again for giving your time and wisdom to the next generation of Cadet drummers. Hope to meet you at a show next season. Off to UNT
I know! Every time I think of looking up and seeing you sitting in that diner I am amazed all over again! You have a very special family...my husband commented that he has never even felt that happy and at ease in the company of his own family! We could have listened to you and Alex tell stories all night. It was indeed exactly as it should have been. :O)
Oh Brian! I can't tell you how happy I was to see you again! I so enjoyed talking with you and playing catch up...I hope we get to do it again before the next thirty years have passed. Getting to spend time with you and your family last night was a perfectly perfect ending to a perfectly perfect weekend. You are everything I remember you to be...and my young girl's heart is full and satisfied. Thank you.
Hi Brian! The holiday was wonderful. I got to see The Cadets march last night, they were so good. Bring on the crazies! I can't wait for the bash in August...do you have a drawl? A drawl with a Jersey accent? Well no matter i am sure that your New Jersey will come right back the minute you touch down. See you soon!
