- About Me:
- I marched in the 1983 Garfield Cadets colorguard. I pursued a profession in newspaper journalism for 18 years and then event planning for an association in Washington, D.C. I began literally 'free'lancing for the corps in 2006, then accepted a part-time offer that Fall from afar.
In May 2007 I came to YEA! full-time as publicity and special events coordinator.

No, I haven't seen or heard from Rich in a number of years. Steve Hart mentioned that he may be working at a local restaurant.
That's tremendous that you were able to go to work for yea. Does your position involve going on tour at any point?
Married with a daughter that will be starting college in the fall. Where have the years gone??????
It's not looking good for the reunion but we're trying to organize a group of Louisiana alums to meet in either Lafayette or Houston (maybe both) for the show next month. I belive that Steve sent an e-mail to George today.

I've enjoyed our friendship so much over the past year+. If you had only marched in 1984, it could have extended a bit longer. Better late than never. You are worth it.
Of course I remember who you are. You were friends with Richard Smuck and came down to New Orleans for Mardi Gras. Was that way, way back in '84?

Finding this site and engaging in some of the discussions has really made me nostalgic. Consider myself very fortunate to have been part of something so special!!!!
