Were you ever involved in drum corps?
yes - LONG ago
About Me:
I marched first with the Trailblazers of Overland Park Kansas. I joined Garfield in 1969 and marched from 70-76. I taught the horn line after that. In 1978 I was the brass caption head and arranger. I also taught the LI Kingsmen, The Sunrisers and other corps. I have been a band director at Brentwood High School for over 30 years. I compose music and write drill.

I have 4 beautiful daughters 23 to 26 years old and a wonderful wife, Linda. I have always loved the the corps. Holy name shall always be.

Hi Dennis,
The Original Girls of the Cadets are sponsoring a Holiday Bash on Dec. 5th at the VFW in Garfield. I promise it will be an awesome night! Please try to come. It's a Saturday night from 7-11pm. Hoping since it's a weekend you will be able to make it. Lots of people from our time in the Cadet family to reconnect with and remember all the good times. You can email me at cynthia.devivo@yahoo.com for more info.

I enjoyed your note on why you joined the Cadets. It certainly made a difference that you did. You gave a lot in return.

Well, I am very impressed with your accomplishments! And I envy your Florida retirement. :o) I am pleased to hear that your family is well and that you have found yourself a good woman. I hope that we will get to see you before you fly south at one of the reunions this summer. Take care too, Dennis.
