Born in New Orleans, LA, I marched w/ the Stardusters, Arabi LA (78-79) Rookie of the Year 78 Starduster of the Year 79, the Memphis Blues Brass Band D & B Corps (80-82), Garfield Cadets ('83), Rookie of the Year '83. Drum Corps is the greatest thing that ever happened to me! I only wish there were still as many corps in existence for more kids to be exposed to the activity. Mo from N.O.

Glad to hear you are doing well. I am planning a trip to New Orleans hopefully within the next year. My husband has never been and I just know he would love it. It would be great to be able to see you.
You have a lot of memories. It's very impressive to see that you were selected as rookie of the year by both The Stardusters and The Cadets, as well as Starduster of the year. The Stardusters are fondly remembered in Cadetland, not only because so many of you closed out your years in drum corps as Cadets, but also because The Stardusters were such a fine corps.
