So far, I've resisted getting involved with Facebook. My wife loves it, but me, not so much!
From what I can tell, the 75th anniversary celebration was really neat. I need to pay attention for any possible gatherings down this way.
George, I'm doing great. You're right, it was in '91 at Texas Stadium (old home of the Cowboys which is about to be demolished) since I last saw you.
A few weeks ago I decided to look at the Cadets website, and then found the alumni stuff. It's neat to see how the corps has evolved over the years. In fact, I haven't been back to New Jersey since marching days, and I didn't realize that they weren't even in NJ anymore till I read the website. It looks like those of you that live up there stay involved, which is great!
It brought back lots of memories looking at the old pics, and thanks again for posting!
George
Thanks for posting the 82 Prelim pics. The pic of the contras is the only one I've ever seen that I'm easily recognizeable (2nd from left) during a performance. My wife and kids got a hoot out of the shot from 27 years ago!! Geez, we're getting old!
Hey there George! How are things in your neck of the woods? all is well on this end of the street...no major drama/no major suspense...only good things to come. I hope to see you at the 75th anniversary celebration! Take care :)
Thanks for the reply. Good to hear from you. Got the hang of playing in 82 and 83, although I always seemed to get a "panic attack" when Donnie would call my name! Funny stuff! Enjoyed the pics, will try to make it to the reunion...
Hi George - How are you?? I love the picys - I think I played that 2 valve baritone in 95 for part of the Season LOL.
I saw that you requested to join the Brit-Cadets Group on Facebook, Ive been trying to get all the Brits who performed with Cadets throughout the years in one place. Its proving to be kinda hard.
Ahhhhh yes....March 19-25 - a little later than usual but I don;t wanna go when all the "real" players are at the WBC. You should try it sometime - very relaxing and all the stadium are small (Cept Yankees Stadium of course) so you're really close to the game.
