Were you ever involved in drum corps?
yes
It's the evening of 1 June 2009. I just got back from Fort Dix, NJ where I (and a few hundred other families) greeted home our American heroes. My "boy" (a 6'3 man with combat experience in a war zone) is home. For 230+ years - since the original "America the Brave" - we are free because of young men and women like him. To all veterans - Cadets as well as non Cadets - THANK YOU and God Bless you for the freedoms we all are so blessed to have!

My older son, John Louis, should be coming home from Baghdad in early June. It's been a long year! His little brother Alex misses him a lot. So do I!

Hey, got your message. Saw dad and Linda -- she looks so much like your mom (shhhh don't tell her I said that!) :) Didn't know Evan went to Vassar -- small world. Sorry you missed the festivities. Wished more people from our era would have come.

Glad you're well. I had a brief chat with your folks. The show and reunion thing were great!!We always indulge our fantasies and leave before the scores then check DCI website when we get home. This was the first time we'd seen any shows this year... maybe it's because the Cadets decided to be more "traditional" this year, but I have to say the other corps left us pretty cold.... especially Crown. What's all the jumping and contorting? I didn't really get it... how can you tell if it's getting better when everyone's always doing something different. Stay in touch and be well.

Did not know she was a Brewer ,,, great school. They found Morgan at a lacrosse tournament in Jersey, National Draw in Marlton. Lax found her, and Vassar found her through lax, Creator's magic. The game gives and we as coaches give back. So glad it found me in college.
