I am currently married and have two very talented boys. My older son is a junior at Okeechobee High School. He is on the swim team and plays baritone for the marching band and most likely trumpet for concert band. He is also in the JROTC program. My younger son is more into sports (can't carry a tune in a bucket). He is a freshman at Okeechobee Freshman Campus and plays golf for the varsity team. He is hoping to play baseball at least at the J.V. level if not varsity. He was honored to be a member of the Florida State Champion baseball team in 2007 and represented Florida at the Dixie Youth Baseball World Series. He also played AAU baseball out of Sebring, Florida and his team won the national title at the Disney Wide World of Sports this summer for the 14 and under division of AAU baseball.
I am currently teaching advanced reading for 6th - 8th grades at Yearling Middle School in Okeechobee, FL. I enjoy watching my boys grow and love spending as much time with them and their friends as I can.
Hi Marcie. I'm glad to see you too found your way to this forum. Did you see the picture I posted of the 84 female horn players? Do you know where anyone else is? I hope you can make it to the reunion next summer.
Chris
Hey Marcie. I remember you! Remember the story that I told you about egging the General Butler Vagabonds Bus's? At the US Open in Marion? LOL!

Okay - I left you a message on this board yesterday & for some reason it's not here. Great to hear from you. We were all wondering about you this summer at the reunion & hope you can somehow find a way to join us. It should be great fun! love you - kathy
I remember putting my feet in your lap, you putting your head on Kraft, Kraft putting his feet on Ginger, and Ginger leaning on me every night on the bus. Then we'd got over a bump or something, and we'd end up kicking or headbutting each other awake at 3am, and staring at each other asking "What the hell just happened?!" Too funny.
Hey Marcie - I don't remember that but I do remember how consistent you were as a player - and a great Cadet, Never whined. Never said a word, And got better at what you did every day. We all would have missed out on something special if you and others that you set the example for had not been there. Thank YOU...
