- yes - LONG ago
- About Me:
- I started with the Little Falls Cadets, I was 11...I marched with the Garfield Cadets from 1969-1975, I think it was 75. I guarded the American flag, I carried a flag, I played cymbals ( or just held them for the drummers to play ) and I was in the rifle line. My favorite was the rifle line.
I got married in 1977, to Steven, I have four children, 3 daughters and one son, ages 30, 27,25 and 23. I have three grandchildren, 2 boys age 10 and one girl 6 months.
I've been driving a school bus since 1992...it fit nicely into the whole raising the family thing.
COME ONE, COME ALL
1ST ANNUAL ALUMNI HOLIDAY BASH
SATURDAY, DEC. 5TH, 2009
7 pm – 11 pm
Come and join your fellow Alumnus for the 1stAnnual Alumni Holiday Bash! This Holiday party is being hosted by the 1969 Original Girls Colorguard on Dec. 5th at the VFW in Garfield, NJ (home of the Alumni monthly meetings).
Price is $25/per person to be paid at the door (bring your spouse or a guest too)which includes a hot buffet, beer and soda, music by a professional DJ and of course the nostalgia and warm feelings that go along with celebrating the season with your oldest friends, the Alumni of our family of Cadets. There will also be a cash bar provided.
We can’t wait to see all of you!
