About Me:

1984-85 P.A.L. Windjammers class A-60 corps, Philadelphia, PA.

1986-87, Garfield 3rd soprano.

1993, married Lisa, West Chester & Phantom Regiment alum, now a middle school band director in Denville, NJ. Yeah, that girl who rode home from Madison with us on Bus 3.

1996, bought the 80 year old home I'm STILL working on in Morris Plains, NJ. I don't think all the lead paint has affected me...much.

2001, our daughter Katie was born, I left my dot-com job 2 blocks from Ground Zero, and my adventure as a stay-at-home-dad began. Katie wants to march Cavies, and who am I to say no?

9/2007, dissatisfied with the academic trends in public school, we started homeschooling. Yes, we still teach evolution and all that, but we've met some, uh, interesting homeschoolers who do not.

12/2008, diagnosed with Choroidal Melanoma. Yup. Eye cancer. Only 6 cases in 1 million. On the plus side, even a teeny 4mm tumor can be a life-changing motivator, so it's not all bad. I'll still hit 100.

An original Cadet Colorguard member here (1969-71) shouting out to all alumni members to come to the 75th Anniversary Celebration this May. We are trying to unite all former cadets and have a great event to share and to donate to the corp. We need to have commitments by april 1st and you can get information on this site under news, or the holynamecadets.org site. It will be great. If you haven't registered with the alumni on the sight, do so.
And, by the way, I live in Denville and I bet my son john, now a senior at knolls took band with your wife! Small world.

Great bunch of guys. Most on the east coast with many from Jersey. My screen name is Dream Theater. Trust me awesome place to vent!

I started to stay home when my wife went on bedrest 3 months into pregnancy. I was looking to get out of banking & timing was right. Our twins were born at 28 weeks. Spent 2 months in the NICU in Livingston, NJ. I love being able to spend the time with them. I dealt with multi millionares (s/p?) for 15 years, & this is the toughest job I have ever done. But well worth it.

You are actually not to far from me. We (me & the boys) sometimes split up to the Rockaway Mall in the winter just to get out and stroll.

Scary that 2 guys from 86, live not so far & both SAHD's. LOL.
