I marched in the Plebes in 1972-1973 and became a member of the "Big Corps" in 1974 through 1981. I was a member of the color guard and joined the rifle line in 1978. Like many other fellow members of my generation, my dad brought me down to the Garfield Boys Club in October 1971 after the Polaski Day Parade to join the corps.
I have two children: Morgan is 19 and is a Freshman at Vassar College and a scholarship athlete. She is playing lacrosse for Vassar. She tried color guard in 7th grade and hated it! Oh well . . . She's an awesome lacrosse player though.
Garrett is 16 and a sophomore in high school. He's an avid golfer, awesome lacrosse player and has just ventured into the world of rock band. Oh, and he now has his driver's license. . . (and they want to know why mother's drink!?!)
Me, I'm working as a Litigation Paralegal for a patent and trademark firm in downtown Cincinnati. I love my job. It's fun, it's flexible and it allows me to still be a hands-on mom.
Would love to hear from you . . .
BTW, I HAVE TWO SITES ON HERE, DON'T KNOW WHY . . . The other is called "rn" ?????
Yep, Oracle can throw quite a party. It's a great company to work for. Last year at OpenWorld in San Francisco, Seal, Elvis Costello, UB40, The Gin Blossoms, Allan Jackson, & the Psychedelic Furs performed, all in one night. Our keynote speakers were Michael Phelps, Mary Matalin and James Carville. It was pretty cool.
Greetings Robin,
Yep, since our son Ryan is again marching in Cadets in 09, we'll be there as much as possible. We've been to every weekend camp so far; as volunteers on the food service group. It is really hard work! (smile) we'll definitely be at E. Brunswick, Allentown, and Indianapolis, etc. See you there? Jim
Hi there! I'm definitely going to try to get to as many as I can. I actually have to go to Boise, ID (Gosh, is my life exciting or what?) on August 2nd, so I'll miss the grand finale! I would so love to catch up with you. It'll be so great to see everyone.
I'm sorry, I still cannot delete users. I can only ban them, which doesnt' help you at ALL. ;-)
Just get into that other alter ego, and delete all the info in it about you so no one will know who it ever belonged to.

Not trying to, but at some point one does feel somewhat Net-stalked.
