It was so great to see you and Barb and Kelly at the 75th. You brought back so many good memories . I wish there was alot more time to catch up. Seemed like as soon as you would say hi to someone another person caught you eye and off you go..lol.. Oh well. Would love to stay in touch my old friend. Say hi to Barb
It has been a long time. I was looking forward to see you at the Clifton Alumni Event but Greg told me that you were on vacation.
Great picture of all of you alumni's at Cindy's daughter's wedding. Hope to see you in Allentown.
Hi Jimmy -- Was good to see you at the wine tasting at Taos in East Rutherford (my home town). . . and yep -- still "afraid" of you after you "yelled" at me in Kentucky!!!! LOL!!! I hope to "get over" it soon. Hope to see you next year at "75"!!! Take Care!! Debi
Jim: How is my most favorite marching instructor? And you didn't even teach me with the Cadets? I'm just looking through this site seeing a lot of old friends & conjuring up a lot of great memories. I still remember having a drink w/ you at DCI's in '85 when I finally aged out. What a great, but very sad night!
You should have heard Don Angelica a few weeks later in Huntsville, Alabama (1980).We were walking past the gate to the field. He stopped dead in his tracks. He turned around and looked directly at me and said " That's Joe Smeyers I taught him back in 1972 . How old is he ?". He said it loud enough for me to hear it. I was legal. After that I was waiting for someone to challenge me.
How are you ?Just wanted to say hello. It's been a long time.
I don't know if you remember, but I have the answer to you question you asked me in South Carolina. You were judging on the field . It was the opening set in the opener. No I am not old enough to be you uncle.
Jim take care and I hope get a chance to say hello during the summer.
